EXT. DESERT HIGHWAY – DAY
Sailor is driving at a fast speed with one hand on the wheel and the other hanging out of Lula’s Ford Thunderbird.
We see both Sailor and Lula seating in silence looking ahead, with a snaking road behind them. With their hairs violently ruffling in the wind, we see them squint at the high sun behind their sunglasses.
From Lula’s POV, we see a close-up of her looking down at her legs adjusting her very short hot pink satin dress. She notices the gold bobble ring on her middle finger and takes it closer to her face. She presses the back of the rim with the thumb from the same hand, tilting her head slightly sideways. Her hand returns back down as she glances at Sailor on the drivers seat.
